V160 Pro: model-specific checks
Follow the recorded scanner design
JOYUSING V160 Pro is recorded as Scanners. Start with a locally saved scan and distinguish document feeding, image capture and the application’s export or network destination. If a line repeats in the same position, inspect only the glass and rollers the owner manual makes accessible. Where both feeder and flatbed paths exist, scan the same clean original through each to localize the problem. Brother’s ADS-1500W cleaning example explains how contamination on a glass strip can create a vertical scan line; use this model’s own access and cleaning instructions. Scanner identification does not establish a print engine or a need for ink or toner.
JOYUSING V160 Pro lists automatic duplex output as No. Check for a documented manual two-sided workflow if you need it; the source does not establish an automatic duplex paper path. A printer’s output duplex entry does not establish two-sided scanning.
Compare printer technology, workload, paper/scanning features, official supplies, software, and total operating assumptions.

Compare the exact printer models
Record complete model codes and region, then compare print technology, color capability, duplex, paper trays, supported media, ADF/flatbed size, connection types, and official supply codes. Use manuals for tray and media limits, and support pages for driver and operating-system compatibility. Similar names can refer to models with different scanner hardware or consumables.
Mark unknown features rather than filling gaps from another model. If a product is sold in retailer-specific bundles, separate the printer model from included accessories.
Match to print and scan workload
Count typical black text, color pages, photos, duplex pages, envelopes, labels, and multi-page scans. Compare tray capacity and feeder limits with that workload. A fast monochrome laser may not serve color photos; a tank inkjet may fit infrequent color printing but have different maintenance behavior. These are model-specific tradeoffs, not universal technology rankings.
Check monthly volume guidance and duty cycle as manufacturer references, not promises. If the workload is seasonal, include the long idle periods in the decision.
Compare supply cost with the same assumptions
Use official supply codes and yields and apply the same monthly page mix to each candidate. Include paper, drum, maintenance box, waste container, printhead, and periodic kit where applicable. A cartridge yield is not directly comparable to a bottle volume or laser toner yield unless the test conditions are aligned.
Add the printer’s purchase price, required cable, extra tray, and warranty terms. If supplies are hard to find in your region, include that availability as a practical factor.
Check software and user workflow
Compare whether each model supports the operating systems, phone print services, scan apps, secure print, and network protocols the users need. Check whether scanning uses a separate driver and whether scan-to-folder or email requires administrator configuration. Test the actual computers if possible before replacing a shared device.
For a workplace, include address-book migration, queue deployment, and user permissions. The cheapest printer may require substantial configuration or lack an essential feeder or duplex function.
Align document and test assumptions
Compare speed with the same type of job and quality mode. A simple text page differs from a color photo or duplex multi-page report. Scanner speed also depends on resolution, color, feeder, and file destination. Mark the manufacturer’s test basis and do not rank devices using unlike figures.
If hands-on testing is available, use the same paper, sample file, operating system, network path, and supply state. Record the settings. Separate observed results from published specifications.
For shared office use, include network security, user access, scan-to-folder, and administrator setup alongside speed. For home use, include mobile printing, photo media, and storage behavior. Weight each feature based on the stated user rather than presenting an unranked spec list as a universal winner.
State when the comparison was checked; supplies, drivers, and operating-system support can change even when the printer hardware stays the same.
Keep a copy of the official spec table for each model; a retailer comparison widget may omit region-specific variations and supported tray or scan limits.

Put the source facts side by side
V160 Pro has 9 recorded specification fields. Compare the fields that matter for your space and use, then resolve gaps with the original documents. These are catalog candidates; fit, availability, and successor relationships have not been established.
